How the process works

Custom web design projects at Lead Creatively Digital go through a vetting process to ensure we're the right fit for each other and that your project gets the focused attention it deserves.

Step 1 | Submit Your Application: Fill out a short intake form so I can understand your business, your goals, and your project scope. This helps me assess whether custom design is the right solution for where you are right now.
Step 2 | Application Review: I personally review every application. If your project is a good fit, you'll hear back within a few business days to move forward.
Step 3 | Strategy Consult Once: accepted, we hop on a call to go deeper on your brand strategy, timeline, and investment. This is where we get into the details and set your project up for success.
Step 4 | Project Kickoff: Contract signed, first payment in, and we're off. You'll receive your official Project Kickoff email with everything you need to know about what comes next.

Why is there an application process?

Custom web design is a significant investment of both time and money, for you and for me. The application process ensures that every project I take on is the right fit, and that I can give it the full attention it deserves. I’d rather be honest upfront than rush a project that isn’t ready.

How long does a custom website project take?

Timeline varies based on the package and complexity of your project. We’ll discuss a realistic schedule during your strategy consult after your application is accepted.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Flexible payment options are available on all packages and are discussed during your consult once your application is accepted.

What platform do you build on?

My primary build environment is WordPress + Elementor Pro, which is powerful and easy for clients to manage post-launch. I also work on WordPress + Divi, WordPress + Beaver Builder, Squarespace, and Shopify for projects. If you’re on a different platform, email me at hello@leadcreativelydigital.com and I’ll let you know if it’s workable.

Do you use templates?

No. Every website I design is built from scratch. Your brand is not a template, and your website shouldn’t be either.

Will my website be optimized for search engines?

Yes. Every site is built with SEO best practices in mind and includes Google Analytics setup at launch. Ranking on page one takes time and ongoing effort, but your site will be properly structured to support that growth from day one.

What if I need my website done quickly?

Rush projects are available at an additional 30% of the project fee, subject to availability. Include your timeline in your application and I’ll let you know if it’s feasible.

What is my time commitment during the project?

Plan to set aside 1–3 hours per week for design reviews and feedback. If you have travel or vacations planned during the project window, flag that in your application so we can plan accordingly.

What ongoing support do I have after launch?

Monthly website maintenance plans are available starting at $90/month and cover updates, backups, security monitoring, and more. Learn more here.
