No vague retainer. No guessing what's being done to your site. Website maintenance at Lead Creatively Digital is structured, transparent, and built around keeping your website stable, month after month.
A lot of business owners hit publish on their website and assume the hard part is over. Then a plugin breaks, an update causes a layout issue, or their site slows down, and they have no idea why.
Websites, especially WordPress sites, require ongoing attention to stay healthy. Squarespace isn’t immune either. Platform updates, design drift, and SEO settings all need regular upkeep.
Ongoing website maintenance is how you make sure none of that becomes your problem.
Here’s exactly how it works when you work with me.
The first step is simple: reach out and tell me about your website. What platform is it on? What’s going on with it right now? What do you wish was being handled consistently?
You don’t need to show up with a list of technical issues; just an honest picture of where things stand. I’ll take it from there.
Before anything is signed or paid, I do a review of your current website to understand its setup, platform, complexity, and what kind of support it actually needs.
From there, we determine which support plan is the right fit: Standard (for most business websites) or Advanced (for e-commerce, membership, or course sites with more moving parts). No upselling. Just the right level of support for your site.
Once your plan is confirmed and your agreement is signed, you’ll go through a simple onboarding process. I’ll collect the access I need to your website (securely), document your site’s setup, and establish a maintenance baseline, so I know exactly what “healthy” looks like for your specific site.
This is also where I note any existing issues that need to be addressed before regular maintenance begins.
This is where the actual work happens. Depending on your platform and plan, monthly maintenance includes:
Every website is different, so your support is tailored to what yours actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all checklist.
Active maintenance clients get priority support for issues that arise between scheduled maintenance windows. If something breaks or behaves unexpectedly, you reach out and I assess it: no scrambling to find someone who knows your site.
This is the part that makes the biggest difference for most clients. Having a consistent point of contact who already knows your website is not a small thing.
Ongoing website maintenance works for a wide range of business websites, including:
If you’d rather learn how to manage your own website, 1:1 DIY Coaching might be a better first step.
I work with both platforms intentionally, and I know what each one actually requires.
WordPress needs thoughtful update management, plugin compatibility checks, and regular backups. Updates that aren’t handled carefully can break things, so they’re not handled carelessly here.
Squarespace needs structural attention and platform-specific refinements over time. Layouts shift, content needs adjusting, and SEO settings need ongoing attention.
You won’t be told to switch platforms just because it’s easier for me. Support works around your existing site.
Annual plans save you two months compared to monthly pricing.
Let’s figure out the right support plan for your website.
No. Maintenance is open to any business owner with an existing WordPress or Squarespace website, regardless of who built it.
During onboarding I’ll document your site’s current state. If there are issues that need to be resolved before regular maintenance begins, we’ll address those first.
Onboarding is typically straightforward and completed within the first week. After that, regular maintenance begins on your scheduled cycle.
Yes. Plans are not locked-in contracts. If your needs change, reach out and we’ll figure out the right next step.
